Sarah Hegener
Sarah began her legal career working in estate planning and probate, where she developed a strong foundation in drafting wills, trusts, and incapacity planning documents, as well as guiding families through the probate process. She later gained significant litigation experience primarily representing clients in insurance defense matters, handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial.
Her practice ultimately returned to estate planning and probate, where she now focuses on crafting tailored planning strategies, including revocable living trusts, testamentary trusts, and planning for minor and special needs beneficiaries. Sarah’s personal experience as the mother of a child with a rare genetic condition has deeply informed her work, strengthening her commitment to helping families plan for the long-term care and financial security of their loved ones.
